ROUND 1
Digital Challenge
March 1 – June 30
Take a 5-minute online multiple-choice quiz, presented by Trane. The quiz, with questions provided by NATE, tests competitors' industry expertise, job execution, safety practices, and code knowledge.

In-Person Qualifying
Week of May 19
Johnstone Supply is hosting live in-person qualifiers at various Johnstone Supply locations across the nation. Achieve the top score at your local event, and you'll automatically advance to the Round 2 At-Home Challenge.
ROUND 2
Home Challenge
August 1 – August 31
The 36 professionals and 36 apprentices who answer the most questions correctly will advance to Round Two. These competitors, plus the additional 5 Johnstone Supply In-Person Qualifiers, will receive a custom At-Home Challenge Kit, presented by Johnstone Supply, to test their skills and workmanship as they complete a real-world job task.
ROUND 3
The Finals
October 2025
The top 10 professionals and 10 apprentices will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to compete in the Championship Finals for their share of over $100,000 and the ServiceTitan HVAC National Champion title.
